Ethan went back to work this past Monday so I have been on my own with the two kiddos. God has been gracious and the days have gone well. The hardest times for me, though, is when Caleb is crying and I have to take care of Julia such as put her down for a nap... It is hard to hear my baby cry... But, he survives. Julia has done well in not getting jealous when I have to feed Caleb or change his diaper. She still loves her little brother and gives him so many kisses; sometimes too many. :)
Here are some recent pics over the past 3 weeks.

Teta brought over a wonderful Italian meal the other day and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.
The Big Sister
So, what has the big sister been up to these days? She is talking so much. We are always surprised each day by her expanding vocabulary. Her favorite things right now are stickers, playing "mama hide" (hide and seek), and going on the swings at the park. Her favorite songs are "Jesus loves the little children" and "Jesus loves me" and always asks us to sing it to her at bedtime. Her favorite book right now is a nursery rhyme book and she often will go to the page with "Ring Around the Rosies" on it and recite "Ashes, Ashes, Fall Down!" She brings us so much joy.
Daddy built her a "cave" the other day and since then she's often begging us to build her a cave.
Our sweet girl
She loves walking around the house in my shoes.
Julie loves her little brother. I have to keep a close eye on her to make sure she doesn't accidently hurt him in her desire to be so close to him and smother him with kisses... It is sweet to see how much she loves him.

Play Date
My friend, Elizabeth, came over to meet Caleb. Her daughter, Sophia, is only a few days younger than Julia. Over the past year and a half we have had several play dates. It is so fun to see them growing up!

Elizabeth holding Caleb. Our girls were even smaller than Caleb was, but Elizabeth couldn't believe her daughter had been that small! How quickly we forget.
