Carl and Melitsa came for a short visit from Texas. Angie & K.C. were so kind an hosted a get-together with a bunch of Melitsa's old friends & roommates. We had such a fun time!

Aiden was keeping us laughing the whole night. It was so fun to see him because the last time I saw him he was a tiny baby.

Christmas Eve Dinner

Ethan's mom hosted Christmas Eve dinner. She invited her brother's family and a few friends, so all together there were 17 of us. Tradition is that Ethan's mom, Lisa, makes breaded & fried seafood (shrimp, scallops, and fish). She also makes 2 different pasta dishes: one with clam sauce and another with tomato sauce. Lisa did a wonderful job and we all had fun together on Christmas Eve day.

Visiting a Friend

On my Christmas break, I drove quite a ways and visited a friend from my m.k. days in the Philippines - Esther. It was fun to see her. The last time I saw her was at her wedding, 5 years ago! She has two kids now. It was great to catch up. We went to Starbucks and enjoyed a holiday coffee drink.

Pre-Christmas fun with Family

Ethan and I hosted his family at our place. We had pizza for dinner. After dinner, we all decorated Christmas cookies. Then, we drank hot chocolate and drove to a neighborhood that has really great lights. We had such a fun time.

Our Christmas Tree

Ethan and I bought an artificial Christmas tree. Ethan did such a great job setting it up.

On Christmas Eve day, we went to Michael's and found ornaments on sale! We were so excited to buy 5 boxes of glass ornaments for $2.00 a piece! So, we finally decorated our tree on Christmas day... :)

A Feline Visitor

There is this cat that lives in our neighborhood. It is the sweetest cat I have ever met. Whenever it sees us, it runs up to us and just wants to be loved. It sneaks in to our apartment every once in awhile and we enjoy petting it and feeding it a little. We met it's owner and found out the cat's name is "Calvin." She said that everyone in the neighborhood feeds it since Calvin is so friendly. Who can resist?!
